Job summary

Amentum is seeking an HVAC/R technician in Qatar to install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems across ACCOM II platforms. The role includes planning activities, surveys, and ensuring refrigerant handling compliance.

Required are a High School diploma or GED, formal HVAC/R training or a 4-year apprenticeship, and 4 years of hands-on HVAC/R experience. Candidates must be eligible for a US Secret Security Clearance and CENTCOM medical exam.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; CFC/EPA Section 608 certification required.
• Formal HVAC/R training or 4-year apprenticeship with HVAC/R experience.
• 4 years of practical HVAC/R maintenance and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and seasonal overhaul to maximize efficiency.
• Support HVAC/R fuel emissions and refrigerant handling programs as part of ACCOM II systems.
