Job summary

Experience seeks an HVAC mechanical engineer in Qatar to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of cold room refrigeration systems, diagnose faults in cold rooms and chiller rooms, and coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers and manufacturers.

You will supervise installation, testing and commissioning works, monitor project progress and ensure timely completion, and prepare technical reports and project documentation for handover. Strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Mechanical).
• Good knowledge of HVAC systems including chillers, VRF, split and package units.
• Understanding of refrigeration systems and cold storage.
• Ability to read HVAC drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of load calculation and basic system design.
• Experience in BOQ preparation and cost estimation.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and HVAC design tools.
• Knowledge of testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Qatar safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of cold room refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in cold rooms, freezer rooms and chiller rooms.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers and manufacturers.
• Manage procurement and material sourcing activities.
• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning works.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide engineering solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, submittals and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Support project execution from planning through successful handover.
