Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Qatar is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for a full-time role to install and maintain chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ducting and piping per approved drawings.

Applicants should hold a Diploma/Technical Certificate in HVAC or Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years’ experience in HVAC installation and maintenance, preferably in facilities management projects, and hold relevant certifications; Qatar approvals and HSE training are desirable.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certificate in HVAC or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' HVAC installation and maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC codes, specs and industry best practices.
• Valid Qatar government project approvals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ducts, piping) per drawings.
• Perform preventive and corrective HVAC maintenance.
• Diagnose faults in compressors, motors, electrical controls and refrigerant systems.
• Read and interpret HVAC drawings and specifications.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

Diagnose faults in compressors, motors, electrical controls, and refrigerant systems.

Read and comprehend HVAC engineering drawings and specifications.

Ensure adherence to HVAC codes, standards, and best practices.

Maintain service logs, inspection records, and compliance reports.

Communicate professionally in English during client interviews, inspections, and technical discussions.

Follow HSE procedures during installation and maintenance activities.

Requirements

Qualifications

Diploma / Technical Certificate in HVAC or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in HVAC installation and maintenance, preferably in FM projects.

Strong knowledge of HVAC codes, specifications, and industry best practices.

Certifications (Preferred)

HVAC Technician Certification (ASHRAE or equivalent).

ISO 9001 Quality Management awareness.
