Job summary

Burjline Builders in Doha, Qatar seeks an experienced HSE Supervisor to oversee Health, Safety and Environmental operations on a large-scale facilities management contract. The role requires leading audits, investigations, and compliance with local regulations and international standards.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, NEBOSH IGC, and ISO 45001/14001 auditing credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field (Engineering, Science, OHS, Environmental Management).
• NEBOSH IGC is mandatory for the role.
• Auditing certifications (ISO 45001/ISO 14001) enhance suitability.
• Strong training in risk assessment, incident investigations, emergency response, fire safety, and permit to work systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the HSE Management System for the project.
• Ensure compliance with company, client and statutory HSE requirements.
• Lead risk assessments and hazard identification activities.
• Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Manage emergency preparedness and response plans.
• Oversee contractor HSE compliance.
• Lead internal and external HSE audits.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare monthly HSE reports.
• Deliver HSE training and awareness programmes.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the project.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years' relevant HSE experience.
• Minimum 3 years in an HSE Manager or Supervisory position.
