Job summary

Burjline Builders is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environmental operations across a large-scale facilities management contract in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will oversee HSE compliance, develop safety strategies and manage audits.

Responsibilities include incident investigations, emergency planning, contractor HSE oversight, training and liaising with regulators to ensure adherence to local regulations and international standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field.
• NEBOSH IGC is mandatory.
• Experience leading HSE across large-scale facilities/contracts.
• Proven track record in audits and regulatory compliance.
• Led risk assessments and incident investigations.

• Develop and implement the project's HSE Management System.
• Ensure compliance with company, client and statutory HSE requirements.
• Lead risk assessments and hazard identification activities.
• Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Manage emergency preparedness and response plans.
• Oversee contractor HSE compliance.
• Lead internal and external HSE audits.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare monthly HSE reports.
• Deliver HSE training and awareness programmes.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the project.

• ISO 14001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years' relevant HSE experience.
• Minimum 3 years in an HSE Manager or Supervisory position.
