Job summary

Ener Mech is seeking an experienced HSE Leader to drive the implementation of Group HSE objectives across offshore and onshore sites worldwide. You will monitor HSE performance, lead audits, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and OSH standards, while mentoring teams and promoting a strong safety culture.

The role requires travel offshore and onshore, strong incident investigation skills, and collaboration with HR training, project management, and engineering teams to deliver safe,

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Certificate (Environmental and Health & Safety).
  • Expert knowledge of OSHA.
  • Proficient in Incident Investigation methods.
  • Proficient in Risk and Hazard Assessment.
  • ISO Auditor certification.
  • Experience working on a global team.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
  • Experience in a similar role covering international accountabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and coach on HSE Management System Standards and Procedures.
  • Drive and provide subject matter technical guidance to HSE Management System procedures and processes.
  • Analyse data and communicate trends on HSE performance throughout the organisation and promote HSE awareness and culture.
  • Develops and is responsible for Risk and Hazard Assessment.
  • Perform/Support internal and external audits and be responsible to drive implementation of corrective actions.
  • Accountability and ownership of the Region/Country HSE objectives.
  • Assists with HSE review and recommendations on Pre-Qualifications/Requests for Proposals, Bid Reviews, Contracts and Pre-mobilization.
  • Prepares Bridging Documents for projects.
  • Support the HR (training), project management teams, engineering departments and business development personnel as appropriate.
  • Ensure the business works in accordance with accredited standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OSHAPrepares and maintains required HSE documents, records, presentations, and reports.
  • Leads HSE inspections, and manages internal, sub-contractor and third-party audits.
  • Supports investigations as per the latest responsibility matrix and analyses of, and reports findings to management on Non-conformity reports and root cause analysis Client satisfaction program data Incidents, near misses and damages Customer complaints Key performance indicators (KPI)
  • Develops and monitors HSE performance, progress, preventive and corrective action plans; hold line managers to account for completing their assigned action items
  • Reports against internal client KPI's
  • Responsible and champions HSE compliance in the facility, onshore, & offshore workplace
  • Lead the deployment of the Ener Mech Engagement Team (EET) in all applicable locations; secure support from all line managers; support the EET to define and achieve their annual plan
  • Responsible for implementation and tracking HSE processes such as Observations, Walk the Talk Leadership Engagements, and Life Saving Rules Inspections
  • Liaise with external bodies on HSE matters
  • Advise business lines to ensure clients' needs are met
  • Drive HSE initiatives and improvements
  • Partner with HR Training and Competency team on HSE Training Matrix and HSE competencies
  • Travel required offshore and onshore. Visible presence and engagement required

The role:

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Chartered member of a HSEQ institute
