Job summary

ConFlip is seeking a skilled Housekeeping Manager in Al-Rayyan, Qatar, to oversee all housekeeping operations and lead a team to maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms and public areas.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in hospitality, fluent Malayalam, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel/Word. This is a full-time role based in Al-Rayyan, offering a monthly salary of $1,100 plus medical insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Fluency in Malayalam is required.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of budgeting principles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure high-quality service.
• Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including assigning tasks, scheduling shifts, and monitoring staff performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and company policies.
• Manage inventory levels for cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints.
• Prepare reports on departmental performance, including occupancy rates, labor costs, and budget expenses.
