Job summary

Flyper in Qatar is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead the hotel housekeeping team in Al-Rayyan. You will hire, train, and schedule staff, supervise cleanliness standards, and coordinate with front desk and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.

Candidates should have strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and excellent English communication. Arabic knowledge is a plus, and flexible hours including weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role as a Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and practices.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proven leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of housekeepers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Ensure that all guest rooms and common areas are cleaned and maintained according to hotel standards
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens; place orders as needed
• Develop and implement cleaning procedures to ensure efficiency and quality of service
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms to ensure cleanliness standards are met
• Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services
• Collaborate with other departments such as front desk, maintenance, and laundry to ensure seamless operations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all housekeeping activities
