Job summary

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA in Doha is seeking a Security Officer to uphold a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests and team members. The role provides a visible security presence while proactively identifying and mitigating risks across the property.

You will conduct regular patrols, monitor CCTV and access control, respond to incidents and emergencies, enforce security procedures, and assist guests with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hotel security or related field
• Experience in a hospitality environment is advantageous
• Ability to stand and walk for long shifts; respond effectively to emergencies
• High school diploma or equivalent; security-related training preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of all designated areas including guest floors, public areas, back-of-house areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter
• Monitor security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm panels) and enforce hotel security policies
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies and disturbances with calm, professional judgment
• Provide courteous security assistance to guests and team members while maintaining confidentiality
• Maintain security logs and incident reports; manage keys and access cards securely
