Job summary

Mondrian Doha is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to ensure the hotel's plant and building are kept to a high standard. You will manage water systems, pumps, boilers, and fire safety equipment, perform hygiene testing, and maintain health/safety records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and building to a high standard as directed by Engineering Supervisor.
• Service plant equipment including pumps, boilers, water systems and fire safety systems.
• Perform water hygiene testing and record results accurately.
• Ensure health & safety records are logged and maintained per legislation.
• Source and contract suppliers as required and manage onsite contractors.
• Plan schedules, risks, and methods of works for plant related areas.
• Be on call for plant emergencies and carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
• Attend to repairs or replacement of bathroom/guest room fixtures and public areas.
• Support energy conservation initiatives and participate in training as required.
• Monitor utility readings and liaise with contractors to ensure deadlines and standards are met.
