Job summary

Leirus, a leading Western project management and engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Highways Inspector in Qatar (Doha) to carry out inspections on the network and ensure compliance with contract specifications.

You will perform safety inspections, develop detailed knowledge of the network, conduct service inspections, and continuously seek improvements in performance and efficiency, contributing to on-site maintenance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Experience in highway maintenance is essential.
• Basic knowledge of highway assets and surface treatments.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Safety Inspections of the network in accordance with the inspection schedule.
• Developing a detailed knowledge of the allocated network and taking ownership of its maintenance per contract requirements.
• Conducting Service Inspections.
• Continually looking for ways to improve performance and efficiency.

Leading Western Project Management and Engineering firm is looking for experienced Highways Inspector in Qatar, who will carry out highways inspections on the network, ensuring compliance with the contract specifications.
As Highways Inspector, you will have the following responsibilities

• Carrying out Safety Inspections of network (carriageway/signs) in accordance with the Inspection Schedule to ensure that Contract Performance Indicators are met
• Developing a detailed knowledge of the allocated network and take ownership of ensuring it is maintained in accordance with contract requirements
• Conducting Service Inspections
• Continually looking for ways to improve performance and efficiency

The ideal candidate shall have a degree in engineering or equivalent. The candidate must have Highway maintenance experience. He must be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of highway assets and surface treatments as well as knowledge of the safety implications of highway works. Preferably the candidate has GCC experience.
