Qualifications

• Experience with health/medical insurance in Qatar.
• Experience in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance approvals, claims submission, and pre-authorization procedures.
• Strong communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with medical insurance companies for approvals, eligibility checks, claims and pre-authorizations
• Verify patients insurance coverage and explain benefits, co-payments and required documentation
• Prepare, submit, track and follow up on insurance claims
• Resolve claim rejections, denials and payment discrepancies with insurance providers
• Maintain accurate patient insurance records and ensure documentation is complete
• Liaise with doctors, reception staff, billing teams and insurance representatives
• Stay informed about insurance policies, clinic procedures and relevant healthcare regulations in Qatar
