Job summary

IRM Energy & Technology in Qatar is seeking an accomplished Project Controls Lead to drive planning, scheduling, risk analysis, and timely execution of major EPC initiatives.

You will lead planning teams, coordinate inputs across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, ensure contractor adherence to procedures, monitor progress, assess delays, and support management decisions to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 10+ years of business planning experience.
• At least 6 years of Oil & Gas experience.
• Experience in major EPC environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and scheduling, including risk and progress control.
• Coordinate inputs across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Ensure contractor compliance with planning procedures and schedules.
• Monitor progress, assess delays, and support management decisions.
• Interface with EPC contractors to drive planning and execution.
• Manage schedule impacts from changes and maintain integrated reporting.

• Monitor progress, assess delays, evaluate recovery plans, and support management decisions.
• Manage schedule impacts from changes and maintain integrated project reporting.
• Interface with EPC contractors to drive effective planning and project execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in relevant discipline with 10+ years of business planning experience, including 6+ years in Oil & Gas.

Skills and Competencies

• Proven experience in major EPC projects, contract environments, and multinational teams.
• Expert in project planning, scheduling, Primavera, and schedule risk analysis tools.
• Strong skills in schedule development, progress analysis, resource planning, and delay assessment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
