Job summary

IRM Energy & Technology in Qatar is seeking a Vendor Packages Manager to oversee deliveries, coordinate readiness for milestones, and close punch-lists before yard delivery. You will drive continuous improvement and share lessons learned across projects to enhance execution quality.

The role requires a strong emphasis on HSE, quality, and cross-functional collaboration with vendors, sub-vendors, and internal stakeholders, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
• 4 years’ Oil & Gas experience across project management, engineering, construction or procurement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vendor deliveries against project schedules and on-site dates (required-on-site).
• Coordinate vendor readiness for milestones and ensure punch-list closure before yard delivery.
• Implement constructability improvements and lessons learned from previous projects.

Job description

Oversee vendor packages, equipment and material deliveries against project schedules and required-on-site dates. Coordinate vendor/sub-vendor readiness for key manufacturing milestones, ensure punch-list closure before yard delivery, and implement constructability improvements and lessons learned from previous projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with project principles, business conduct, HSE and quality standards.
• Monitor vendor performance against KPIs, delivery schedules and required-on-site dates.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks, resolve issues and improve schedule performance.
• Ensure equipment is delivered without open punch items.
• Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned.
• Report vendor performance to management and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders for key milestones.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
• 4 years’ Oil & Gas experience across project management, engineering, construction or procurement.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong HSE awareness and commitment to safety.
• Knowledge of design standards, codes, offshore facilities and engineering execution.
• Understanding of quality assurance, inspection and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with yard fabrication and construction methods.
• Strong English communication and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering and construction requirements.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Proficient in MS Office, Navisworks and business tools.
