Job summary

Qatar Airways Group seeks an exceptional Head of Business Finance – B2C to lead strategic financial partnering for its consumer-focused business. You will partner with Marketing, Digital, Loyalty and Customer Experience to drive profitability, revenue growth and long-term value creation.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, deep financial expertise, and the ability to translate strategy into actionable insights for executive decision-making in a fast-moving aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of job-related history.
• 5 years in an airline management position and people management expertise.
• Finance Business Partner to B2C divisions and stakeholders experience, preferably in large and structured Companies.
• Knowledgeable in airline operations, with a preference to commercial matters.
• Good Command of English language.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review variances and understand the business cycle and their impact on the profit and loss account.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must, as is the ability to work effectively across the organization.
• Strongly developed soft skills, high level of integrity, open/transparent, team player.
• Passionate about digitalization and innovation.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-centric driven approach.
• Must have an excellent organizational ability to be able to set priorities and handle multiple tasks.
• Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
• Ability to train and develop subordinates' skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members

• Support the development and execution of the airline's B2C growth strategy.
• Influence key business decisions through robust financial analysis and recommendations.

• Monitor business performance against targets and provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop KPI frameworks and executive dashboards focused on revenue, profitability, and customer metrics.
• Drive accountability for financial performance across the B2C portfolio.
• Deliver timely insights to support executive decision-making.
• Lead financial evaluation of large-scale strategic initiatives and transformation programs.
• Build business cases and investment appraisals for new products, digital solutions, and customer-focused innovations.
• Identify risks and opportunities impacting revenue, margins, and overall financial performance.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals.
