Job summary

Advanced Search Group is seeking a Senior Site Construction Supervisor in Qatar to oversee contractor on-site activities and ensure compliance with the approved scope, approved design, and QHSE requirements. The role focuses on maintaining schedules for timely completion, commissioning, and handover of projects.

• Fifteen plus years in construction/installation with minimum ten in oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of construction and QHSE standards.
• Able to interpret and review method statements, ITPs, lifting/erection plans, schedules and drawings.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractor site activities and construction works to ensure compliance with approved scope and design.
• Ensure adherence to QHSE requirements and execution schedules for timely completion, commissioning and handover.
• Identify bottlenecks or problems in construction activities and propose effective solutions.

Job description

Primary Purpose Of The Job

Responsible for the supervision of contractor’s site activities and construction works to ensure compliance with approved scope, approved design, QHSE requirements, execution schedule leading to timely completion, commissioning and handover of assigned projects

Required Experience And Skills

Fifteen (15) years minimum construction/installation related experience of which ten (10) years in oil & gas industry. Good knowledge of construction and QHSE related standards. Good ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection and test plans, lifting/erection plans, construction schedules and drawings. Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems related to construction activities and suggest solutions. Good communication and report writing skills.

Educational Qualifications

B. Sc. in an Engineering Discipline or Diploma with extensive construction management experience. An additional/secondary HSE qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH would be valuable in candidates for this position.
