Job summary

QatarEnergy is seeking a seasoned Construction & EPIC execution focal for day-to-day management of NFA projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield scopes, ensuring fabrication and installation align with approved drawings, scope of work, and QatarEnergy standards.

The role interfaces with Project Manager, Asset Holder, Contractor and Construction Team to guide supervisors and contractors to meet schedule, quality and HSE requirements in all activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in supervising EPIC projects including offshore construction, installation, pre-commissioning and mechanical completion.
• Robust FEED and EPIC project experience with capability to review contractor deliverables.
• Strong multi-discipline engineering expertise and problem-solving capabilities.

Job description

Primary Purpose of the Job

Focal point, responsible, accountable for the day-to-day Construction and execution of NFA project both Greenfield and Brownfield to ensure they are Fabricated and Installed in accordance with approved Scope of Work, approved drawings, engineering design and safety, environment and QatarEnergy standards & specifications.

Act as an interface between Project Manager, Asset Holder, Contractor and Construction Team. Provide guidance to construction supervisors and Contractor to ensure that all construction activities are executed in accordance with approved method statements complying with project schedule, quality and HSE requirements.

Required Experience and Skills

• Candidate should have a minimum of 15 years overall experience in supervising EPIC projects with offshore experience involving construction, installation, pre-commissioning and mechanical completion of Topsides, Jackets, Pipeline, Umbilical and Brownfield Modifications.
• Candidate must have robust experience in FEED and EPIC projects with strong capability to review/approve contractor deliverables.
• Relevant technical expertise. Multi-discipline engineering exposure with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safety and environmental awareness.
• Excellent ability to interpret and review drawings, method statements, inspection and test plans, construction schedules and drawings.

Educational Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Engineering from a recognized University plus relevant courses in Safety, Quality Control and Construction.
• Good skills in construction management, effective communication and conflict resolution.
