Job summary

IBIS Doha is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas and exterior spaces to brand standards. You will report defects through KnowCross, uphold health and safety guidelines, and provide friendly customer care while supporting the housekeeping team.

Attention to detail, physical fitness, and flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, are essential. Training and ongoing skill development are part of the role at IBIS Doha.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel environment is preferred
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with good problem-solving abilities
• Physical fitness to stand lift push and pull for extended periods
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe handling of chemicals
• Proficiency in English additional languages beneficial
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks
• Positive attitude and adaptability to challenging situations

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms public areas and exterior areas to brand standards ensuring they are well-presented at all times
• Report maintenance defects in guest rooms public areas and back of house through KnowCross
• Adhere to all brand standards and quality audit standards throughout the hotel
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards when handling cleaning materials
• Provide exceptional customer care maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude even when faced with challenges
• Assist with other tasks to support the housekeeping team as required
• Attend all required training sessions and continuously improve your skills and knowledge
