Job summary

Chedi Hospitality in Doha is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness and comfort across guest rooms and public areas to hotel standards. You will perform housekeeping duties, restock amenities, and respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring privacy and security at all times.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, detail-oriented, with good English communication skills and the ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 18–40 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent (GCSE O-Level or equivalent qualification).
• Good command of spoken and written English; local language knowledge is an advantage.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Physically fit to perform housekeeping duties.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, suites, and public areas.
• Ensure rooms are cleaned, prepared, and replenished with amenities.
• Deliver evening turndown service where applicable.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and sanitation.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping service calls.
• Handle guest laundry per hotel procedures.
• Report maintenance defects to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Care for housekeeping equipment, linens, and supplies.
• Maintain pantries, storage areas, and linen rooms in order.
• Assist with deep cleaning and special cleaning projects.
• Follow Lost & Found procedures and report items found.
• Support other housekeeping areas when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
