Job summary

Premier Inn in Doha seeks a Service Attendant to ensure smooth restaurant service, maintain standards and guest comfort with strong product knowledge to upsell.

You will welcome guests, take and serve orders, liaise with kitchen and bar, clear tables, manage stock, and uphold health and safety policies. Fluent English required, hotel/F&B experience preferred. Accommodation and benefits provided with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Ideally your background will be from the hotel/F&B industry, and worked as a Service Attendant for a minimum of 1 year in a 3-star or above category hotel.
• Fluent English is a must and other languages would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, interact and communicate with guests & colleagues in a courteous, friendly and clear manner
• Take, prepare and serve guest orders with accuracy while promoting and up selling all products, focuses on maximizing sales in order to drive sales and meet outlets targets
• Liaise with the kitchen and bar team to ensure timely service while ensuring the guests meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
• Clear and clean tables as soon as it is apparent that guests have finished their meals professionally
• Maintain stock, accurately handle point-of –sale transactions, maintain cleanliness of outlet always
• Ensure that company Health and Safety policies are followed and adhered to, train all new team members
