AP Executive is partnering with a well-established contracting group in Qatar to appoint a Group HR Manager. This is a group-level role that sits slightly outside the day-to-day HR function.

You will work directly with the C-suite to design and implement the people policies, systems and procedures that will shape how the group operates, with a dotted-line relationship to the Group Head of HR. The challenge is to define a consistent, group-wide KPI framework and manage the SAP SuccessFactors

Formación

• Experience in a group, holding-company or corporate centre role is required.
• Proven track record delivering group-wide projects, especially performance/KPI frameworks.
• Hands-on involvement in an HR system implementation; SAP SuccessFactors experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and HR policy drafting.
• Ability to influence C-suite executives and work via dotted-line relationships.
• Experience in construction, contracting or large-workforce industries is desirable.
• Fluent Arabic and English, HR/Business/Law degree; CIPD/SHRM or equivalent preferred.

• Collaborate with the Group Head of HR to ensure adoption across the group.

AP Executive is partnering with a well-established contracting group in Qatar to appoint a Group HR Manager. This is a group-level role that sits slightly outside the day-to-day HR function. You will work directly with the C-suite to design and implement the people policies, systems and procedures that will shape how the group operates, with a dotted-line relationship to the Group Head of HR.

The Challenge

The group operates through several businesses, and performance management has grown up differently in each. Working with senior leadership, you will define a consistent, group-wide KPI and performance framework that links individual goals to business objectives. You will do this while the group implements SAP SuccessFactors, so you will make sure the new system reflects how leadership wants to manage performance and people across every company.

What You Will Do

• Partner with the C-suite to turn business priorities into group-wide people policies, processes and standards.
• Design and implement a consistent KPI and performance management framework across all group companies.
• Act as the business lead for HR on the SAP SuccessFactors implementation, working with IT, the implementation partner and company HR teams.
• Draft and roll out group policies and procedures, making sure they are legally sound under Qatar Labour Law.
• Advise executives on HR legal matters, contract issues and policy risk.
• Work alongside the Group Head of HR and company HR teams to make sure new frameworks are adopted consistently.
• Lead change management and communication so new systems and procedures are embedded across the group.

What You Will Bring

• Significant HR experience in a group, holding-company or corporate centre role, ideally in a multi-entity organisation.
• A track record of delivering group-wide projects, especially performance management or KPI frameworks.
• Hands-on involvement in an HR system implementation; SAP SuccessFactors experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and HR legal matters, with experience drafting policies.
• Confidence advising and influencing C-suite executives, and working effectively through dotted-line relationships.
• Experience in construction, contracting or another large-workforce industry is desirable.
• Fluent Arabic and English (both essential); a degree in HR, Business or Law; CIPD, SHRM or equivalent preferred.
