Job summary

Siemens in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Grid Software to lead project delivery from sales through design, procurement, and final delivery. The role involves P&L accountability, robust customer engagement, and coordination with the Grid Software business unit in the Middle East.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software/project management within utilities or smart grid, is PMP/pm@SIEMENS certified, and can manage multi-disciplinary teams across regions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in Software development, Integration and Smartgrids.
• Experience with utilities in Smart Grid market.
• Experience in managing software/integration projects using Agile.
• PMI/pm@SIEMENS or PMP certification required.
• Strong communication with customers and internal teams.
• Experience with international and cross-border projects.
• Proficient business English; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer objectives and contractual scope and obligations.
• Plan, schedule, budget, and report on projects.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and effective communication.
• Manage resources and identify required skills.
• Highlight risks and opportunities to management.
• Oversee subcontractors and document reviews before submission to customers.
• Support regional delivery teams and regional offers and proposals.
• Drive project reviews and ensure adherence to pm@SIEMENS guidelines.
