Job summary

airswift is seeking a Project Engineer in Qatar to support a major Oil & Gas project, coordinating with China-based vendors to monitor manufacturing progress, readiness, delivery schedules, and project milestones.

You will coordinate with vendors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure equipment and materials meet project requirements, track performance, inspections, and punch items while mitigating risks that could delay schedules.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science is required.
Minimum four years of Oil & Gas industry experience.
Experience with international vendors and manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

Monitor vendor performance, manufacturing progress, and delivery schedules.
Ensure equipment and materials align with project milestones and ROS dates.
Coordinate vendor readiness for inspections, testing, and acceptance activities.
Close outstanding punch items before shipment of equipment.
Identify and mitigate manufacturing, supply chain, and delivery risks.
Develop and drive recovery plans to address vendor delays.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, quality, and construction teams.
Engage with international vendors and facilities as needed.
Occasionally travel to China-based facilities for/vendor inspections.
