Job summary

QNB Group seeks a Senior IT Security professional to provide oversight and governance across international subsidiaries, aligning with Group Information Security policies and risk tolerance.

Responsibilities include developing KPI/KRI metrics, shaping information security strategy, and ensuring embedding of the security framework across businesses with strong cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably with a Major in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology (related field of study).
• Professional certifications such as CCSP, CISSP is mandatory.
• At least 6 years’ experience in a major International bank in an Information Security department.
• Ideally a mix of both 1st, 2nd and 3rd line experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight, guidance and governance to the QNB Group Subsidiaries in Information Security.
• Increase the effectiveness of management’s oversight by creating a methodology and list of KPI/KRIs to monitor the security posture.
• Assist in the Information Security Strategy and present to GCRO for review.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Subsidiaries and International branches to achieve objectives.
• Ensure information security framework is embedded across the business and report risks and events.
