Job summary

Amentum is seeking a drafting and surveying specialist in Qatar to support the AFCAP program at Al Udeid Air Base. The role involves GIS data management, drafting, surveying, and producing geospatial maps and installation documentation for facilities and infrastructure.

You will use AutoCAD and ArcGIS Pro, work with engineers to update CIP/MDS, and ensure accurate facility plans and SOW documentation. This position is on-site in Qatar and requires eligibility for a security clearance.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of surveying and drafting experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and GIS software.
Ability to create and maintain technical drawings and geospatial data.
US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
Experience with DoD/Geospatial data standards preferred.

Responsibilities

Create and print custom maps via DAPS or government systems as requested.
Provide engineering surveys for facilities, construction layout, and route planning.
Conduct in-field land surveys to capture geospatial data for updates.
Create and maintain technical drawings, geospatial data, and maps.
Maintain a repository of technical references, plans and specs for facilities.
