Job summary

QatarEnergy Qatarization seeks an experienced NDT Inspector to conduct independent visual inspections and NDT activities in the Crude Area under the Plant Inspector guidance.

Requirements include 5+ years in in-service/shutdown inspections within oil refining and petrochemical sectors, with PCN/CSWIP/ACCP Level II UT/PT/MT/RT certifications. Additional RTFI, API, AWS certifications are a plus, and strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in in-service and shutdown inspection in oil refining & petrochemical industry.
• PCN/CSWIP/ACCP Level II UT/PT/MT/RT certification.
• RTFI, API, AWS certifications are advantageous.
• Proficient in compiling technical reports per international and company codes.
• Strong written and spoken English; computer literate.

Primary Purpose of the Job

To perform independent visual inspection and NDT activities as instructed by Plant Inspector in Crude Area.

Required Experience and Skills

• At least 5 years’ experience in in-service inspection, shutdown inspection functions within oil refining & petrochemical industry, with some adequate exposure to supervisory duties and responsibilities.
• Certification in PCN /CSWIP / ACCP( ASNT Central Certification Program) Level II in UT, PT, MT, RT.
• Certification in RTFI, API, AWS will be added advantage
• Ability to compile technical reports with reference to international and company codes.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Computer literate.
