Job summary

Four Seasons Doha is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Engineering team. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hotel electrical systems, troubleshoot faults, and respond to emergencies to ensure guest safety and comfort.

You will read basic electrical drawings, work with the team, and adapt to shift schedules including weekends and holidays, while maintaining high safety and service standards that reflect the Four Seasons brand.

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in hotel or hospitality

Responsibilities

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of the hotel’s electrical systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, wiring, lighting, sockets, switches, and distribution boards.
Attend to electrical maintenance requests in guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and back-of-house areas.
Conduct regular inspections and ensure all electrical systems are safe and in good working condition.
Perform electrical installations, repairs, and minor improvement works as required.
Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and follow hotel safety procedures.
Support the Engineering team with other maintenance duties when required.

Qualifications & Experience

Technical qualification or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, motors, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Good knowledge of electrical safety standards and preventive maintenance.
Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language, Arabic is an asset
