Job summary

Whizz HR Pvt. Ltd. in Doha is seeking a Fire Fighting Engineer to plan and supervise firefighting installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance works, and to coordinate suppression-system servicing and technical reporting.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, 3+ years of relevant experience with firefighting systems (FM-200 and kitchen hood suppression) and the ability to read drawings, communicate in English, and prepare clear reports for clients and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of relevant project and maintenance experience.
• Experience with firefighting systems, FM-200 and kitchen hood suppression; knowledge of foam and water-mist systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise inspection, testing and maintenance of fire pumps/controllers, sprinklers, hose reels, hydrants and associated piping, valves and controls.
• Coordinate maintenance and fault investigation for FM-200, foam, water-mist and kitchen hood suppression systems and arrange specialist support.
• Supervise installation, pressure testing, flushing, testing and commissioning of sprinkler, hose reel, hydrant and fire-pump systems per drawings and procedures.
• Prepare work schedules, allocate technicians, monitor progress and respond to breakdowns and planned maintenance.
