Job summary

Experience in Qatar seeks a Finance Specialist to support the PSO Finance department with accounting, time-keeping, payroll and banking tasks for the site. You will ensure compliance with PWS and ISO 9001 QMS, prepare invoices, reconcile charges, and maintain auditable filing systems while providing regular finance reports to the Site Manager.

The role requires intermediate English, MS Office proficiency, and at least three years in professional accounting.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to understand, speak, read and write English at an intermediate level.
• Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel and Word programs.
• Must possess a valid home country drivers license and ability to obtain host nation drivers license.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years' experience in a professional accounting environment with experience in handling cash required.
• Light to moderate lifting as required carried out in an office environment.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and sometimes outside of standard hours.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Associates Degree in Finance or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare payments and reconcile charges to company and employee accounts.
• Maintain site petty cash fund in accordance with program policies and procedures.
• Manage the timekeeping Deltek Costpoint (Time & Expense) for the site.
• Provide Deltek Costpoint timekeeping training for new hires.
• Prepare month-end accruals reports.
• Prepare Operational Funds requests.
