Job summary

A reputable consultancy firm in Qatar is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations, manage payroll processing, and ensure compliance with Qatar Tax Laws. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Qatar. Proficiency in ERP and QuickBooks is mandatory. Overview

Premium Solutions Consultancy is hiring a Senior Accountant for a reputable client in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger management.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Qatar Tax Laws, and financial regulations.
• Manage payroll processing and ensure Wage Protection System (WPS) compliance.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
• Implement internal financial controls to prevent discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience (preferably in Qatar).
• Strong knowledge of Qatar Tax Laws and financial regulations.
• ERP & QuickBooks experience (mandatory).
