Job summary

Facade Today in Qatar is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Glazing Engineer to lead engineering and design reviews for curtain walls, skylights, and ACP cladding.

You will oversee QA/QC, fabrication tolerances, and site execution, supervise installation teams, resolve interface and waterproofing issues, and coordinate with main contractors, consultants and clients to ensure compliance with drawings and international codes (ASTM, BS, EN).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering.
• 7+ years in structural glazing, stick/unitized curtain wall systems, and aluminum fabrication.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro and Orgadata (LogiKal).

• Review shop drawings, fabrication details, profile extrusions, and structural load calculations for curtain walls, skylights, and ACP cladding.

• Site Execution: Supervise installation teams, resolve interface/waterproofing issues, and ensure compliance with approved drawings and international codes (ASTM, BS, EN).
• Coordination: Manage material estimations, project timelines, and technical approvals with main contractors, consultants, and clients.

Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering.
• Experience: 7+ years in structural glazing, stick/unitized curtain wall systems, and aluminum fabrication.
• Software: AutoCAD (Required), Revit (BIM), STAAD.Pro, and Orgadata (LogiKal).
• Location/Certifications: GCC experience, UPDA/MMUP registration, and valid Qatar Driving License preferred.
