Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Fabrication Project Engineer/ Construction Engineering Specialist in Doha, Qatar. You will respond to the Fabrication Manager as part of the COMP5 project within the Fabrication Department, coordinating with subcontractors, yards and clients to drive progress.

You will lead execution strategy, manage safety, quality and cost, and monitor subcontractor performance and material purchasing from planning to delivery in a challenging EPC environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 13 years of experience in EPC Fabrication.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as focal point of communication among Subcontractors, Fabrication Yards and Clients for daily fabrication progress.
• Prepare execution strategy and plan before project start.
• Oversee planning, management and execution with emphasis on SHE, quality, cost.
• Review construction strategies and assess subcontractor performance against plans.
• Monitor material purchasing from PR to PO and delivery.

Purpose Of The Position

As Fabrication Project Engineer/ Construction Engineering Specialist, you will respond to the Fabrication Manager and be part of the COMP5 project within Fabrication Department.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

• Responsible as focal point of communication amongst Subcontractors, Fabrication Yards and Clients with regards daily activities of Fabrication SCTR related with fabrication progress.
• Preparation of execution strategy and plan prior to the Project Started.
• Conducts the overall planning, management and execution of the Projects considering the aspect of Safety, Health and Environment (SHE), Quality, Cost.
• Review the correct application of Construction strategies and proper assessment of Subcontractors performance against prescribed plans using key metrics and proper identification of remedial action plans via site verification and ensure proper execution.
• Monitoring and tracking material purchasing process from PR released till PO process and delivery.

• Any Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
