Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume setting.
• Strong leadership and team-motivation abilities.
• Creative menu development and presentation.
• Excellent time management for fast-paced kitchens.
• Solid food cost control knowledge and practices.
• Solid knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations.
• Fluency in English (Arabic a plus).

Executive Chef - Ar-Ruwais, Contract Position

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Ar-Ruwais on a contract basis. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and leading a team of culinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and create innovative menu items that align with our restaurant's concept
• Source high-quality ingredients and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing
• Oversee kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
• Train and develop kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus and special event menus

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Creativity in menu development and presentation
• Excellent time management skills to meet fast-paced demands of the kitchen
