Doha Petroleum Construction Co. W.L.L is seeking an Estimation Engineer (Mechanical) – Proposals in Doha, Qatar.

The role centers on developing cost estimates for mechanical and piping works within EPC/EPCI/EPIC tenders, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with project requirements. The ideal candidate has 15+ years in Oil & Gas, with 7–10 years in proposals/estimation and strong Brownfield experience; offshore exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of total experience in Oil & Gas.
• 7–10 years in proposal/estimation roles.
• Strong Brownfield project experience required.
• Offshore experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Estimate mechanical and piping works for offshore/onshore projects.
• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for tenders.
• Support EPC/EPCI/EPIC proposals with practical cost insights.
• Ensure estimates align with project requirements and tender specs.

Experience Required:

• 15+ years of total experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience in Oil & Gas EPC/EPCI/EPIC tenders and proposals.
• 7–10 years of relevant proposal/estimation experience.
• Strong Brownfield project experience is required.
• Offshore experience will be an added advantage.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong working knowledge of Oil & Gas EPC/EPCI/EPIC tenders and proposals.
• Proven experience in estimating the cost of Mechanical and Piping works.

Hands-on experience in estimating Mechanical/Piping works for:

• Offshore projects
• Onshore Greenfield projects
• Onshore Brownfield projects
• Good understanding of resource requirements, including:
• Manpower
• Equipment
• Materials
• Ability to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates in line with project requirements and tender specifications.
