Job description

Starlink Qatar is looking for an ERP Support Specialist to provide day-to-day functional and technical support for SAP-related systems, resolve user issues, support ERP operations, and assist with integration across Microsoft applications and business tools. You will work closely with end users, internal IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure system stability, timely issue resolution, and effective business application support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level support for SAP-related incidents and user requests.
• Troubleshoot ERP system issues and coordinate resolution with relevant technical or functional teams.
• Support users with SAP transactions, system access, data-related issues, and general application queries.
• Monitor and follow up on ERP support tickets to ensure timely resolution within agreed service levels.
• Assist with user access, permissions, roles, and basic system administration activities.
• Support integration between SAP and Microsoft applications where applicable.
• Assist with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power BI, and related Microsoft 365 applications.
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing, upgrades, enhancements, and change implementations.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, issue logs, and knowledge-base materials.
• Conduct basic user training and provide ongoing system support.
• Liaise with ERP vendors, internal IT teams, and business users to resolve application issues.
• Escalate complex incidents to the appropriate support teams while maintaining clear follow-up.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to ERP processes, reporting, and user experience.
• Ensure adherence to IT service management processes, policies, and security requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in ERP / SAP application support or a similar business application support role.
• Practical experience in troubleshooting SAP-related user and system issues.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Power Platform tools.
• Exposure to Power BI and Power Apps is preferred.
• Understanding of IT service management and ticketing processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
• Strong documentation and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple support requests and priorities.

Preferred Certifications

• ITIL Foundation
• SAP Certified Associate – Support Consultant or relevant SAP certification
• Microsoft Power Platform certification would be an added advantage
