Job summary

Confidential in Doha, Qatar seeks an experienced Environmental Manager to implement and monitor the Environmental Management Plan on Ashghal infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with Qatar regulations and ISO 14001. You will coordinate with project teams and client representatives to sustain environmental performance.

The role requires a minimum of five years in environmental management for construction, with preference for Ashghal project exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental management within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in Ashghal projects in Qatar is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) in accordance with Ashghal specifications and Qatar environmental regulations.
• Conduct environmental inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor dust, noise, wastewater, waste disposal, and pollution control measures.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of construction and hazardous waste.
• Prepare environmental monitoring reports, inspection records, and compliance documentation.
• Identify environmental risks and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and client representatives on environmental matters.
• Conduct environmental awareness training for site personnel and subcontractors.
