Qatar Airways Group is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, Level 2 – Engine Facility, to deliver off-wing engine maintenance and rework within the license authority. You will support engine LRU build-up, module removal/installations, borescope inspections, engine preservation/storage, and receipt/dispatch inspections to ensure timely maintenance for QR engine operation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
• Holds minimum 2 engine type approvals or borescope approvals.
• Minimum of 5 years of job-related aircraft certifying experience.
• Borescope inspection and QEC/LRU build up experience of V2500, Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent XWB, GE CF6-80E1, GE90, GENX, GP7000, PW4158, PW1000 engines.
• Ability to retrieve and read data from Technical Publications.
• Sound knowledge of air legislation.
• Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
• Using mathematics to solve problems.
• Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Good understanding of Aircraft Maintenance Manuals with reference to limitations.

Responsabilidades

• Exercising license/approval in relation to scheduled and unscheduled BSIs to support operations.
• Advising the Supervisor of potential service disruptions affecting the program.
• Provide specialized knowledge to ensure safe, effective, and efficient operation.
• Perform engine/APU receipt inspections, dispatch inspections, engine transportations, and build up of LRU/modules.
• Ensure maintenance tasks meet standards, safety, and on-time targets.
• Comply with QR procedures and improve engine maintenance processes.
• Ensure tasks meet time frame requirements and quality standards.
• Maintain engine readiness for installation and meet scheduled targets.
