Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced anesthesiologist to assess patients, select suitable anesthesia, and provide perioperative care. You will administer anesthesia, monitor patients, and manage airway and life-support as needed.

The role requires a medical license, strong teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure. Experience with SAP ERP is a plus, and GCC exposure is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current medical license to practice in country of residence.
• Knowledge of anesthesia types, monitoring, and patient safety.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage emergencies.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) is preferred.
• Experience with GCC region is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthetics and analgesics for perioperative pain management.
• Monitor patient before, during, and after anesthesia; manage adverse reactions.
• Record anesthesia type and dosage; document patient condition.
• Manage airway and life-support during procedures.
• Provide anesthesia via local, IV, spinal, or caudal methods.
• Review patient history and diagnostic tests to assess risk.
• Participate in department development and staff training.
• Schedule on-call duties and provide on-call services.
• Ensure drug, supply, and equipment needs are updated.
• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Head of Department on duties.

Job Summary

Responsible for assessing patients' health and discuss which type of anaesthetic is suitable for them. To providing anaesthesia to patients for operations and procedures.

Job Responsibilities 1

Administer anesthetics and analgesics for pain management prior to, during, or after surgery.

Monitor patient before, during, and after anesthesia and counteract adverse reactions or complications.

Record type and amount of anesthesia and patient condition throughout procedure.

Provide and maintain life support and airway management and help prepare patients for emergency surgery.

Administer anesthetic or sedation during medical procedures, using local, intravenous, spinal, or caudal methods.

Examine patient, obtain medical history, and use diagnostic tests to determine risk during surgical, obstetrical, and other medical procedures.

Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.

Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

Adheres to policies, guidelines, plans and programs of the organization.

Performs other duties as assigned/directed by the Head of the department.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Current and in a good standing Medical License to practice in country of residence.Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities including symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures.Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Perfect vision and visuospatial awareness.The ability to work well alone and within a team.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
