Jing Hau, a prestigious five-star hotel in Al-Rayyan, Qatar, is seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. You will create desserts and pastries that delight guests and uphold the hotel’s standards of excellence.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of pastry experience in a high-end setting, a culinary degree or equivalent, and fluent English. Arabic knowledge is a plus. The position offers a competitive salary of 1600 USD per month and opportunities for growth.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor junior chefs.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Create and prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to established recipes.
• Monitor quality, consistency, and presentation of all pastry items.
• Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all pastry ingredients.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings.
• Maintain a clean and organized pastry station.
• Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus for special events or promotions.
