A leading engineering services provider in Doha, Qatar is seeking an ELICS Engineering Lead with at least 10 years of experience in electrical engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commissioning planning, substation automation, and control systems. Key responsibilities include leading contractor teams and ensuring compliance with international electrical standards. Qualifications

• 10 years experience as an Electrical Engineer with knowledge of commissioning planning.
• Experience in Substation Automation and Control systems.
• Strong leadership skills, able to lead contractor teams.
• Understanding of System Completion Process and phases such as technical and contractual certificate walkdowns and PSSR procedure.
• Experience in systemization including checksheet allocation, completions database and development of instrumentation pre-comm/comm procedures.
• Pre-commissioning & Commissioning experience and understanding of HV/LV systems (132kV to LV).
• Experience with steam and gas turbine generators and associated control systems.
• Understanding of International Electrical Standards and best practices in electrical installations and testing.
• Experience in sub-station control system Pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Strong leadership skills, experience leading contractor teams.

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Control system engineering or equivalent and/or equivalent experience.
• 10 years experience as an Electrical Engineer with a broad knowledge of commissioning planning and execution experience in Control and SCADA systems.
• Good knowledge and exerienece in Susbtation Automation, Power Management System and Load shedding schemes for generation and distribution systems.
• Good understanding of System Completion Process and assosiacted phases such as technical and contractual certificate walkdowns and PSSR procedure.
• Experience in systemization including checksheet allocation, completions database and development of instrumentation pre-comm/comm procedures.
• Pre-commissioning & Commissioning experience and understanding of High and low voltage system (132kV to low voltage) Transformers, Switch boards, Lighting, Earthing, lightning protecton, UPS, Battery Charger, heating systems and Cathodic Protection etc.
• Experience with steam and gas turbine generators and associated control systems.
• Good understanding of International Electrical Standards and best practices in the areas of electrical installations and testing.
• Demonstrated experience of sub-station control system Pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Strong leadership skills, experience leading contractor teams.
