Job summary

Samsung C&T Corporation in Qatar seeks engineers to design electrical single-line diagrams, control schematics, and layouts for generators, transformers, switchgear, and motor control centers.

You will monitor high‑voltage systems, troubleshoot large rotating machinery, oversee SCADA/PLC integration for remote plant monitoring, and develop testing and commissioning procedures to ensure safe, compliant energy production.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical single-line diagrams, control schematics and layouts for generators, transformers, switchgear and motor control centers.
• Monitor and troubleshoot high-voltage systems and large rotating machinery to minimize downtime.
• Oversee SCADA, PLC and instrumentation integration for remote plant monitoring and automated workflows.
• Develop procedures for and supervise testing of new electrical installations and grid synchronization.
• Ensure adherence to national and international electrical standards, environmental laws and safety protocols.
• With a strong background in water power or hydroelectric plant operations, manage and improve high-voltage generation equipment and plant automation.

System Design Integration

Design electrical single-line diagrams control schematics and layouts for generators transformers switchgear and motor control centers

Operations Maintenance
