Job summary

SPIE Global Services Energy in Qatar seeks a Construction Supervisor (Mechanical & Piping) for a 12-month temporary role. You will oversee all mechanical and piping construction activities, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate closely with Engineering, QA/QC, and contractors to meet project schedules.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in EPC oil & gas construction, Brownfield/Greenfield experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years experience in construction, field execution, and mechanical completion for EPC Oil & Gas projects.
Experience in Brownfield and Greenfield projects with Contractors and Sub-contractors in Onshore/Offshore facilities.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

Supervise and oversee all mechanical and piping construction activities in accordance with project processes and IFC drawings.
Ensure safety compliance and monitor field activities per QatarEnergy LNG requirements.
Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, and subcontractors; prepare/conduct weekly construction meetings.
Review and approve Contractor's Method Statements and ensure execution at site.
Interface with Contractor's construction teams and ensure PTW compliance and progress monitoring.
