Job summary

SPIE Global Services Energy in Qatar seeks a Construction Supervisor (Mechanical & Piping) for a 12-month temporary role. You will oversee all mechanical and piping construction activities, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate closely with Engineering, QA/QC, and contractors to meet project schedules.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in EPC oil & gas construction, Brownfield/Greenfield experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years experience in construction, field execution, and mechanical completion for EPC Oil & Gas projects.
• Experience in Brownfield and Greenfield projects with Contractors and Sub-contractors in Onshore/Offshore facilities.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee all mechanical and piping construction activities in accordance with project processes and IFC drawings.
• Ensure safety compliance and monitor field activities per QatarEnergy LNG requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, and subcontractors; prepare/conduct weekly construction meetings.
• Review and approve Contractor's Method Statements and ensure execution at site.
• Interface with Contractor's construction teams and ensure PTW compliance and progress monitoring.
