Job summary

Tanqeeb in Qatar requires a Construction Supervisor (Mechanical & Piping) to oversee all mechanical and piping construction activities on EPC brownfield/greenfield projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance. The role reports to the Head of Construction and collaborates with the Construction Lead and site teams.

You will supervise contractors, review method statements and ensure full implementation at site, while coordinating with QA/QC and Project Engineering to maintain project

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Diploma accepted).
• Minimum six years in construction, field execution and mechanical completion in EPC Oil & Gas projects.
• Experience on Brownfield and Greenfield projects with contractors/sub-contractors.
• Proficiency with ASME/API/ASNT/NACE codes and standards.
• Strong leadership, communication and IT skills (Excel/Word).

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical and piping construction activities in accordance with project plans, safety rules, and schedule.
• Coordinate with Project Engineering, QA/QC and Construction Leads for efficient execution.
• Review Construction Method Statements and ensure site implementation by Contractor/Sub-contractor.
• Monitor PTW system, site safety, QA/QC compliance, and progressive work milestones.
• Report progress and issues to Construction Focal Point and Head of Construction.
