Job summary

Candidzone is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector for a building project in Qatar. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering and have proven experience inspecting electrical systems on building projects, with GCC experience working with consultancy firms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience inspecting electrical systems for building projects.
• GCC experience with consultancy firms is required.
• Hospitality and similar building project experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, drawings, and inspection procedures.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and standards.
• Monitor power distribution, lighting, earthing, and low-current systems.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical docs.
• Conduct site inspections to verify quality and compliance.
• Identify defects and deviations; recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain site documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
