Job summary

Candidzone L.L.C. seeks an experienced Mechanical Inspector for a building project in Qatar. The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering and relevant inspection experience, with GCC experience working with consultancy firms.

Hospitality project experience is highly preferred. You will inspect HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting and other mechanical systems, review shop drawings and technical submittals, conduct site inspections, prepare inspection reports, and ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience inspecting mechanical systems in building projects.
• GCC experience with consultancy firms is required.
• Experience in hospitality and similar building projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, technical drawings, and inspection procedures.
• Good communication, reporting and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical installations in building projects to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Monitor HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
• Review approved shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and verify the quality of mechanical works.
• Identify defects, non-conformities, and deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate site documentation.
• Ensure mechanical works comply with project requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
