Job summary

Swan Global in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer – Inspector to join our Supervision Team. The role focuses on supervising residential electrical works on site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, QCS and international codes.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in consultancy, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, and is currently based in Qatar. You will inspect, review submittals, conduct testing, and prepare reports while enforcing safety standards on

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
7–10 years consultancy experience in residential projects.
Currently based in Qatar with knowledge of QCS and local regulations.
Experience in site inspections, testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

Inspect and monitor electrical works on site to ensure compliance with drawings, specs and QCS/standards.
Review shop drawings, material submittals and method statements.
Conduct daily site inspections for electrical installations including power and lighting.
Ensure contractors work meets project requirements and safety standards.
Report progress, issues and non-conformances to Senior Electrical Engineer and Project Manager.
Participate in site testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
Coordinate with other inspectors and site teams for smooth execution.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain site records and documentation.
Enforce health, safety and environmental standards on site.
