Job summary

Técnicas Reunidas seeks a senior engineer with 12–15 years of experience, including GCC exposure, to lead technical activities in Qatar. You will collaborate across disciplines, develop MTOs, supervise teams, and ensure compliance with project documentation and standards.

The role covers Electrical and Equipment material responsibilities, support for proposals, and coordination with Purchasing, Inspection, and Project teams to meet milestones and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline.
• 12–15 years of relevant engineering experience, including substantial Qatar/GCC experience.
• Strong communication, coordination, and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team member integration and coordinate with Electrical Department.
• Analyze and implement contractual documentation and norms for projects.
• Develop activities for Equipment and Electrical material under responsibility (MTO, requisitions, bid evaluation).
• Follow-up to purchase orders to meet milestones for information and equipment delivery.
• Supervise and participate in team performance under Electrical team Leader guidance.
• Support proposal development including cost estimation and design management.

• To supervise and participate in the team work performance as guideline by Electrical team Leader.


• To assure properly use of the management tools:

SmartPlant Materials (Marian).

Document Management System (Documentum).

VDDR & IAP

Additional to above activities, to support during proposal development:

• Collaborate with Cost estimation for proposals.


• Development of MTO for Equipment and material Installations


• To prepare deviations and clarifications lists


• Design Management:


• Collaborate with Team leader with team members integration


• To identify difficulties during the work performance and report to Team leader in order to be solved.


• To share information for proper project performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 12–15 years of relevant engineering experience, including substantial experience in Qatar/GCC;


• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline;


• Strong relevant Engineering and Project experience;


• Previous experience working on major projects in Qatar is highly preferred;


• Good knowledge of Qatar Engineering standards, regulations, and Project requirements;


• Strong communication, coordination, and technical skills.
