Job summary

Técnicas Reunidas seeks an experienced engineer with 12–15 years in the field to lead pipeline activities within a major Qatar project. The role requires a BSc or MSc in engineering and strong knowledge of GCC standards, with proven ability to manage planning, progress and client interactions.

Applicants must hold MMUP/UPDA Grade A certification and provide detailed registration documents. Only candidates meeting these mandatory criteria will be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience on major projects in Qatar is preferred.
• Knowledge of Qatar standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directs, supervises and coordinates pipeline activities within the Project.
• Ensures application of working procedures and project specifications.
• Supports project meetings with management and client.
• Prepares and monitors project planning and progress reports.
• Manages NVAT and approves subcontract reports.

Specific functions:

• Directs supervises and coordinates pipeline activities within the Project.
• Ensures the application of the working procedures and instructions in the Project and the specifications thereof.
• Understand and share the scope of the Project as well as the Contract.
• Supervises the edition and implementation of the Design specification.
• Assistance to Project meetings, both with Management and with the Client.
• Creation of the PPA according to the budget of approved hours.
• Preparation and monitoring of project planning.
• Progress Report Edit.
• Editing Subcontract Reports.
• PPA Edition.
• Editing the list of lines to be modelled.
• Editing the forecast of isometric to be edited.
• Hours budget control to maximize productivity.
• Project Progress Control.
• NVAT Management.
• Signing of work parts.
• Definition and monitoring of the individual production of the personnel assigned to the Project.
• Approval of the different plans generated by the department during the Project.

Requirements:

• Minimum 12–15 years of relevant engineering experience, including substantial experience in Qatar/GCC;
• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline;
• Strong relevant Engineering and Project experience;
• Previous experience working on major projects in Qatar is highly preferred;
• Good knowledge of Qatar Engineering standards, regulations, and Project requirements;
• Strong communication, coordination, and technical skills.
