TP in Qatar seeks a senior Electrical Engineer with 5+ years in earthing and lightning protection for high-rise, substations, and major infrastructure projects. You will design, implement, and test comprehensive earthing and LPS systems, ensuring compliance with KAHRAMAA, QCDD, IEC 62305, IEEE 80/142, and BS EN 62305.

You will review drawings, perform earth resistance calculations, supervise installation, and oversee testing and commissioning.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in earthing/gounding and lightning protection.
Strong knowledge of KAHRAMAA and QCDD requirements.
Familiarity with IEC 62305, IEEE 80/142, BS EN 62305.

Mansioni

Design and develop earthing, grounding, and lightning protection systems according to project specs.
Prepare and review drawings, layouts, calculations, specifications, method statements, and submittals.
Conduct earth resistance, soil resistivity, and touch/step potential calculations.
Design and review LPS and surge protection solutions.
Supervise installation activities to ensure compliance with drawings and standards.
Perform testing, inspection, and commissioning of earthing and LPS systems.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients, and authorities throughout project execution.
Ensure compliance with KAHRAMAA, QCDD, IEC, IEEE, BS EN standards.
Prepare testing/commissioning reports and handover documentation.
