Job summary

Avanta Works is seeking a competent Welder to join our team in Doha. The role focuses on performing welding activities to the highest standards in line with safety requirements.

You will read technical drawings and operate oxyacetylene and arc welding equipment, spot welders, and flux torches. The ideal candidate will have proven welding experience, an understanding of engineering principles related to welding, and excellent eye-hand coordination.

Qualifications

• Proven experience and skills as a Welder.
• Solid understanding of engineering and mechanical principles related to welding.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Excellent eye-hand coordination, accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding activities to the highest standard in compliance with safety standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to determine weld requirements.
• Operate welding equipment and maintain tools to ensure quality workmanship.
